My daily Ibiza ritual; making fire π₯
My friends like to see me coming at their home tooΒ π
Most houses have no central heating here so this fire is very welcome to keep us warm.
It makes me very happy to be busy with the wood outside, to collect small twigs to light the fire and to create fire in the house.
Being active and raw in nature is a favorite activity of my inner man.
My inner woman then again enjoys the coziness and warmth that is created there.
Every day this fire teaches me something new.
About how air and space are needed to start a fire. If not, the fire does not get a chance to grow, it gets stifled and you get smoldering smoke.
A question that came to my mind was ‘How much breathing space do I give myself when starting a new project?’, ‘Am I relaxed and does my inner fire get enough room to get going in its natural flow?’, ‘Or am I going too fast and forcing the whole thing just to be left with only smoldering smoke?’
And once the fire is going, how do I keep the fire alive?
That is a whole other story.
Nature, the best teacher, so simple and always available!
Look around you, look at your own body and learn through very simple things.
Fire, water, air and earth.
How are these element alive in you?
In the coming two ‘Sacred Union within’ weekend retreats, this connection with nature is an important part of the program and the sweatlodge is a wonderful reflection place for this.
During the weekend we’ll also do practices to give space and to activate your inner fire.
